Eleanor Parry Lutz, 88, formerly of Floral Park, died on Sept. 12, 1999. She was born April 16, 1911 in Floral Park the daughter of William H. Parry. She attended John Lewis Childs School and Hempstead High School in Floral Park. She earned her teaching degree at Keuka College. She taught religion to children at the Floral Park United Methodist Church and established the church's Thrift Shop. She also taught business classes at Sewanhaka High School and in the late 1950s served as president of the Sewanhaka Central High School District Council PTA. Mrs. Lutz was president of the Floral Park Women's Club, on the board of directors of the LI Federation of Women's Clubs and represented LI in the NYS Federation of Women's Clubs. She was president of the LI Chapter of the AAUW and sang with the Sweet Adelines. Wife of the late George. Mother of George Lee Lutz, Martin Franklin Lutz and Lanenne Lutz Beltrone. She was predeceased by her son, William Lutz. Sister of Catherine Staneslow. Grandmother of seven. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park.
