We are half way through the '99 boating season. Have you already had some uncomfortable experiences out on the water? Learn to skipper a boat safely with Sewanhaka Power Squadron. Don't become one of the tragedies that we read about in our local waters. You can be "Boat Smart" by taking this four-week (eight-hour) course. Class starts on Monday, Aug. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Herricks Community Center, Shelter Rock Road ,New Hyde Park.

This US Power Squadron course will provide you with essential safety information for every type of boater. After successful completion you will be eligible for New York State Certification and power squadron membership giving you the ability to further advance your boating education. You may also be eligible for a discount from your insurance company.
