Sewanhaka High School FBLA Wins District Honors
Students from the Sewanhaka High School Future Business Leaders of America Club recently earned FBLA District honors in competitions held at Adelphi University. Competing against 20 other schools in Nassau County, the following outstanding business students will advance to the New York State competitions to be held in Rochester in April.

It looks like "business as usual," when the Floral Park Knights of Columbus bowlers greet the Bellerose Lumber every Thursday evening and last week's assault on the hapless pins was a repetition of the weekly pin-pounding that is handed out every time the local Caseys unzip their bowling bags and lace up their shoes.

Knights of Columbus Free-Throw Tournament Downstate Championships
The Downstate level of the New York State Knights of Columbus Free-throw Tournament, was held at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy, on Saturday, March 13, with shooters from Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk vying for the next rung, in the ladder that will take them to the "Big One" -- the much-coveted New York State Championships -- to be held, sometime in April, at the historic West Point Military Academy.
