Master Plan Task Force Disbands, Forming Two New Groups
Scott Howell of the Nassau Planning Commission, who according to Neal Lewis of the Nassau Master Plan Task Force attended every meeting of the Task Force, addressed the members of the Task Force at their Jan. 28 meeting in the Hofstra University Club to update them on the status of the passed Comprehensive Master Plan before the Task Force disbanded at the end of the evening.

Last Thursday's assault on the defenseless Bellerose wood by the Floral Park Knights of Columbus keglers, was just a repetition of the previous 18 week's Columbian cannonading and a signature of the pin-spilling prowess exhibited week after week by the local Caseys.

Knights of Columbus District Free-Throw Championships
The district level of the New York State Knights of Columbus Free-Throw Championships was held in the John Lewis Childs gym, on Saturday, Jan. 30, with the local Casey cagers latching on to seven of the 10 medals awarded to the winners and paving the way for their further climbing the ladder of success that terminates sometime, in March, when, hopefully, they will be competing for the State Championship in West Point.
