Francis J. Moroney, of Bellerose, died on Nov. 15, 1998. He served in the Army in the China/Burma, India Theatre during WWII and received the American Service, Asiatic-Pacific and the Good Conduct medals. He was a retired Sgt. NYPD. Husband of Eleanor (nee Higgins). Father of Thomas E. (Marie), Maureen R. Cicciari ((Robert) and Francis X. (Rickey). Grandfather of Eileen, Brian, Regina, Karen, Marybeth, Patrick, Thomas, Gregory, Matthew, Elizabeth, Kristina, Erin and Becky. Brother of Patricia Shale and Rose Marie Moroney. Arrangements were made by the Cecere Funeral Home, Westbury. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory the Great RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
