TOB Supervisor's 5K Run to Kick Off Oyster Fest
Runners and walkers of every age and ability are cordially invited to be part of the 11th annual edition of the Oyster Bay Town Supervisor's Oyster Festival 5 Kilometer Run to be held on Saturday morning, Oct. 17 as the kickoff event of this year's Oyster Festival. The run will start in Fireman's Field in Oyster Bay at exactly 9 a.m. on the morning of the 17th.

Safe Boating and Jet Ski Courses
Sewanhaka Power Squadron will hold a seven week course, to start at 7:30 p.m. The course will include an optional "Jet Smart" Certification and a "Boat Smart", four week course will only be offered at New Hyde Park. There is a nominal charge of $25 for navigation and course materials.
