Nicholas Mattei from Farmingdale has had a whirlwind start of his senior year at St. Anthony’s High School in S. Huntington. In September he was elected to the board of the National Honor Society as vice president. A position that has kept him involved in almost every event that takes place at the school from sun up to sun down.
In October he was named Homecoming King, picked out of a total of about 300 boys that attend the school.
On Wednesday, Nov. 10, National Signing Day where college recruits sign their National Letters of Intent to play a college sport, Mattei signed and committed to play lacrosse at 4X Division 2 National Champion New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) where he will be enrolled in the fall.
