(This letter is in response to the article, “St. Joseph Hospital Brings Patient Back from Brink of Death,” that appeared on the front page of the Farmingdale Observer on Friday, Aug. 27.)
I was very happy to hear about the Farmingdale man whose life was saved after being cared for at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Also, as a Farmingdale resident and a fellow Leo, Happy Birthday and many more.
I am writing this note to commend and celebrate my fellow nurses, along with healthcare professionals, technicians/allied health personnel and all other employees that do this job, every day, without proper recognition and without a picture in the newspaper.
There are people out here that know all that you do. I say to you, and you know who you are: We recognize you as the heroes that you are; and we thank you. Keep up the Great Job!
