U.S. Navy Korean War veteran, 50-year member of ESCARP Local 7, member of the Bethpage-Hicksville Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite of Long Island, Rockville Centre. Husband of 54 years to Agnes. Father of Jeanine Gross (Bob), James (Donna) and John (Lisa). Grandfather of eight. Brother of Jack Lillie and Jean Pomroy. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Memorial visitation was held May 1 at the funeral home. A Masonic service was held that evening. On May 2, a service was held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Bay Shore. Faith Priscilla Hoffman, age 79, of Fair Play, SC, passed away April 26, 2010. Born on Long Island, she was predeceased by her parents, William Ewen and Frances Psota Ewen. A graduate of Smithtown High School, she retired after 36 years of service from AT & T. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Albert Hoffman, cousins Joseph Psota of Anderson, SC, and George Psota of Long Island. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Service and entombment took place May 3 at Pinelawn Memorial Park under the direction of the funeral home.
