Marino, Concetta, 93, formerly of Lynbrook passed away July 31, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice, Port Jefferson. Beloved wife of the late Gerard. Edward S. Skellington, 94, lifelong Bethpage resident passed away July 24, 2014. Retired superintendent of the Bethpage Water District, 20-year volunteer fireman with Bethpage Fire Department. Proud WWII U.S. Army veteran and Bronze Star recipient Lifelong parishioner of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Beloved husband of the late Claire. Loving father of Jean Eno (Frederick) and the late Edward. Cherished grandfather of Donna Turner (Raymond), John Pearson (Lesley), Dana Price (Daryl) and Christopher Eno (Heather). Also survived by his cherished nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A Service was held Friday, August 1, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, followed by interment at the Bethpage Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home.
Jean Rae Dunn, 95, of Ilion, NY (former longtime resident of Levittown, NY) passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 8,2014. Married April 17, 1948 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC, to Edward J.Dunn. A Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she served as past Regent to the Jerusalem Chapter, Wantagh. She enjoyed reading at least two books per week, watching the NY Rangers and NY Yankees, cross stitching and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Schwabach (Bruce)of Ilion, NY, Michael Dunn of Wantagh, NY, nine grandchildren Victor Ortiz (Kelley), Pablo Ortiz (Judy), Julian Ortiz, Kelsey Alford (Justin), James Schwabach, Erica Schwabach, Brendan Dunn, Allison Dunn, Reilly Dunn, two great grandchildren, Elliot Ortiz and Amelia Ortiz, a special cousin, Dexter Miller, special sister-in-law Anne Veilson, brother~in-law Martin Dunn and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in April 1989 by her beloved husband, Edward, and in March 1999 by their cherished daughter, Nancy Ortiz. Funeral Service and interment took place Saturday, Aug. 16, at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.

Cherished grandmother of Dina Casper (Chris) of NC, Jeffrey Lazarow (Ginamarie); Nick Lazarow; Joey Capaldi (Jen) of FL, Danielle England (Chad) of FL, and Timothy Capaldi of GA. Mayer Udell, longtime owner of London Jewelers, with stores in both Greenvale and Manhasset, recently passed away. He was 96.
A resident of Glen Cove, Udell arrived in America from Poland in 1939. He worked in his family’s sweater factory business. Udell mastered that business and opened two of his own factories in Bay Shore and the Bronx, which were great successes.
