Patrick Gerald Looney, 76 years old, of Seaford, NY passed away August 15, 2012. Served in the U.S. Navy 1953-1956. Retired Deputy Chief of the Nassau County Police Dept., 34 years of service. Husband of Virginia (“Teena”), his childhood sweetheart and love of his life for 58 years of marriage. Father of Patrick (Diane), Michael (Mary), Timothy (Barbara), Robert (Lori) all residents of Connecticut and Amy Salvo (Stephen) of Seaford. Grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 7. Brother of Mary Rasmussen, Gerald Looney and Katherine Newman. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Mass was held August 18, at Maria Regina RC Church, followed by interment at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood.
