Franklin D. Noe, of Mesa, AZ (formerly of Bethpage, NY) passed away Sept. 6, 2012, with his loving companion Rosemarie McElgun by his side. Honorary member and Ex-Captain of Ladder Co. 3, Bethpage Fire Dept. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Loving father of Jean Ceglio (Frank), Franklin G. (Sheila), Bryan (Barbara) and Linda Verano (Frank). Proud grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher, Sara, Michele, Jenna, Joanie, Kaitlin, Timothy, Victoria, Anthony, and great-grandson, Christopher. Cherished brother of Charlie Noe and Carolyn Ferrari. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Firematic service was held Thursday evening. A funeral service was held Friday, Sept. 14, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery. Donations in Franklin’s name may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Devoted Grandma of Bill, Chris, Debbie, Tommy, Matt, Danielle, Jessica, Johanna, Nicholas, Alexander, Jonathan and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, John and Rosemary (Rottkamp) Finn, sister, Marie Finn, and brothers Henry, Vincent and John Finn. Charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America (Elmont and Farmingdale Chapters.) A funeral mass was held Saturday, Sept. 1, at St. Kilian RC Church, followed by interment at St. Boniface Cemetery, Elmont.
