Walter Kranz, 93, longtime Bethpage resident passed away on Dec. 14. “Wally” was a quality controller for 38 years at Grumman. He proudly worked on projects such as the Lunar Module, and others. His name is on the existing plaque on the moon. Wally’s hobby was building and flying radio-controlled aircraft. Beloved husband of Evelyn (née Herte). Devoted father of Robert.
