The Farmingdale Dalers defeated the Massapequa Chiefs 33- 8 in Massapequa last Saturday. The Dalers lost their starting QB in the first drive of the game. The Chiefs scored first to lead 8-0 until Dalers' Curtis Jenkins ran 29 yards to score.
Dalers missed the PAT for the Chiefs to hold on to a 8-6 lead at halftime. With 4:13 left of the third quarter, Jenkins scored again with a 43 yard pass from back up QB Mike Scheuerer, to make it Dalers 12-8, but again the Dalers missed the PAT.
The Dalers defense stated strong by shutting down the Chiefs’ offense. The Dalers would score with a 15-yard run by Scheuerer, an one yard run by Jenkins and a 10-yard run by Joe Lee to give the Dalers (4-0) the win.
Jenkins rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while QB Scheuerer passed 9/10 for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
