The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 15 of Nassau County and Massapequa present an evening of Irish entertainment with live traditional Irish music by renowned Irish entertainer Ed Ryan, and featuring champion Irish step-dancers with an additional performance by the Tara Pipes and Drums of Massapequa. Festivities start at 7 p.m. on June 29 at Brady Park on Front Street in the village of Massapequa Park. Homemade Irish soda bread, giftware and refreshments will be available. This professionally facilitated group meets on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and allows participants opportunities to share feelings and strategies related to caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Those who are financially able are asked to contribute $10 to the LI Alzheimer’s Foundation for each session they attend.
