Anti-bullying Session

Girl Scouts of Nassau County will hold an anti-bullying session for all girls in grades 6-8 on May 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hicksville Community Center, 28 West Carl Street. Beautification Volunteers

Members of the Village Beautification Committee will be planting flowers on Main Street and in Village Green on Saturday, May 18 and May 25 beginning at 9 a.m. at village hall. All residents are invited and encouraged to volunteer to help beautify our village. Bring your trowels and gardening gloves. Refreshments served.

The Farmingdale Bethpage Historical Society of Long Island will hold their annual strawberry festival on the Village Green at 2 p.m.

JC Café  

The JC Café at Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main Street (corner of Grant Ave), will host well-known contemporary Christian singers and musicians Sam Powell and Friends on June 8.  Doors open at 7 p.m. with complimentary coffee and desserts and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.; suggested donation is $5.
