Dorothy (Wunder) Brocato, 84, of Ft. Pierce, FL, died on March 21, 2009. Mrs. Brocato was born July 31, 1924 in Brooklyn and moved to Merrick in 1958 before moving to Spanish Lakes in 1996. Prior to her retirement she worked for W.B. McVicker Co. as a corporate secretary for 43 years in Brooklyn. Survivors include her son, Edward Brocato of Monroe Township, NJ, and John Brocato and daughter-in-law Susan of Farmingdale; sister Helen Meyer of West Islip; brothers, John Wunder of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Ronald Wunder of New Bern, NC; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Santo Brocato. A church service was held at the First United Methodist Church, Amityville. Interment followed at Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home.

Christopher Ross, of Natick, MA (formerly of Melville, NY ) passed away in his 55th year on February 9, 2009 in the company of his loved ones. A man of enormous personal integrity and caring, he is survived by his wife Maureen and her daughter, Jessica, his parents, James and Theresa, and his siblings, Kathleen (Lawrence), Kevin (Pat), Carol (Marc), Marianne, Brian (Fran), Jamie (Khalli) and his six nieces.
