After reaching the state finals last year, the Lady Dalers lacrosse team got off to a hot start of the season last Thursday by defeating Seaford 18-2. Janine Hillier scored the Dalers first goal of the season in the first 62 seconds of the game. Jessica Williams and Melanie Raso each had three goals. Alyssa Cardillo, Krislyn Engleke, Janine Hiller and Kelly McPartland each had two goals. Goalies Lauren Maksym had 10 saves and Megan Planz 1 save.


The boys lacrosse team also started the season with a win over Kellenberg 16-4. Peter Mormino had one goal and three assists. K.C. Worker, Sal Tuttle, Corey Hendrickson, Kenny Lutz and Mike Ferrigno each had two goals. Goalies Hayden Kirk had three saves and T.J. Dicarlo had two saves. For more photos visit Logo
