Stanley N. Anderson, of Farmingdale, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 on Feb. 2, 2009. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, flight instructor and air traffic controller at LaGuardia Airport. Husband of Crispina. Father of twins, Arianna and Jesse, and stepdaughter, Sara Press. Son of Albert M. Foley and the late Silas N. Dingman. Also survived by his sister Alice M. Hammond and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A religious service was held Feb. 6 at the funeral home. Cremation was private. Donations may be sent to a trust fund for Stan's children c/o Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. 315 Conklin St., Farmingdale, NY 11735. Josephine Messina, of North Massapequa, died on Feb. 4, 2009. Wife of the late Vincent. Mother of Phyllis Cassano and Marty Messina. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. John L. Cheatham, of Bethpage, passed away at the age of 78 on Feb. 4, 2009. Husband of Joan. Father of Debra (Chris) Chatham-Lang and John Cheatham. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A religious service was held Feb. 7 at the funeral home with interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Robert E. Kosikowski, of Dover, died Feb. 5, 2009 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 75. Bob was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Farmingdale to the late Victor A. Kosikowski and Estelle Suchenski Kosikowski.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve retiring as a colonel in 1985 after 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. From 1976 to 1979 he served as the 326th Military Airlift Squadron Commander. After his military retirement he served as the civilian executive officer of the 512th Airlift Wing at Dover Air Force Base retiring in 1994.

Bob was a member of St. Polycarp RC Church, Smyrna, where he was an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and was involved with administering communion to the homebound. He was an avid golfer, playing since the age of 7. Bob also enjoyed wood working, gardening and traveling as well as many other interesting hobbies. His greatest joy was having his children and grandchildren over every Sunday for dinner.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy J. Posillico in 1978.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Ruth Kosikowski of Dover; a son, Thomas Kosikowski and his wife Susan of Dover; his daughters, Kristen Kelly and her husband Sean of New Castle, PA, Gwen Kosikowski of Magnolia; five grandchildren, Justin Kosikowski, Kayla Kelly, Erin Kelly, Camille Kosikowski, Allison Kosikowski; his Uncle Frank and Aunt Emily Suchenski of Randolph, NJ, brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held noon Thursday February 12, 2009 at St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977. Friends may call from 7-9 Wednesday night at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made in Bob's name to the Disabled American Veterans, 183 South Street, Camden, DE 19934, the USO of Delaware, 500 Purple Heart Way, Dover AFB, Delaware, 19902 or St. Polycarps Catholic Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977.

Kelsey A. Moffett, longtime resident of Farmingdale, passed away at the age of 80 on Feb. 6, 2009. Husband of Mary. Father of Jeanne (Fred) Schultz, Stephen (Denise), Christine and the late Thomas. Grandfather of Melissa, Thomas and Brian. Steadfast in faith, friend to many, loved by all. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Feb. 10 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. John W. Kaminski, of Bethpage, passed away at the age of 85 on Feb. 7, 2009. Husband of Maria. Father of Diana Solano. Grandfather of Andrea DiBella, Gina DiBella and Olivia Solano. He was a WWII Army veteran. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Feb. 10 at Our lady of Mercy RC Church with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
