The LI Devils from Farmingdale won their third game 10-3 over the Flushing Boys Club. Once again great pitching came from Kevin McCormick, Glenn Kennedy, Mike Manetta and Tommy Hamel. The LI Devils continue to hit the ball well. Hits came from Tyler Sullivan, Jake Heuskin, Joe Quinn, and Joe Salavec. Good defense played by Connor Doran, John Allen Feiner, Anthony LaRosa and Daniel Keller held the Flushing Boys Club to just three runs. Next week the LI Devils will host the Mattituck Mets. After losing the first game the LI Devils were trailing 6-3 in their final at bat. They rallied and sent the game into extra innings with hits from Vinny Quinn, Mike Scheuerer, Nick Butler, Chris Brown and Justin Henry's triple and steal of home tied the game. Then in extra innings the LI Devils loaded the bases and Chris Brown's Grand Slam put the game away. The Devils would score again with hits from Jack Keller and Dylan Loria. The Devils won the game 11-6. Good defense played by Nick DeMartino, Nick Birns and the final out of the game was caught in right field by Brendan Gruener.
