Lorraine H. Vogel, a lifelong resident of Farmingdale, passed away April 14, 2008. Retired Grumman employee. Aunt of Richard Smith (Kathy) of Levittown, Jackson Cereoli (Maryanne) of Bethpage and Robyn Curly (John) of Vero Beach, FL. Also survived by three grand-nieces and three grand-nephews. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A religious service was held April 18 at the funeral home with interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park with her husband, Alex (deceased 1997).
Beatrice Gavigan, 85, of Hebron, MD (formerly of Bethpage), passed away April 12, 2008. Born in New York City where she was the wife of the late Harold (Dec. 1974). Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Beatrice is survived by a daughter, Mary LaDuca, three sons, Tim, John and Michael, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Cremation took place in Maryland. Memorial visitation was held April 17 with Mass following at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Bethpage, and interment of ashes at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn. Henry R. Brady (Harry) of North Palm Beach, FL (formerly of Uniondale), passed away April 14, 2008. Brother of Bernadette Stephan, Sylvester Brady and Thomas Brady. Robert J. Weingarten, age 75, of Bethpage, passed away on April 20, 2008. Husband of 51 years to Anne. Father of Thomas (Andrea), Laura (Michael) and Paul (Barbara).
