The 2007-08 Junior Varsity Farmingdale Daler's Roller Hockey Team under the direction of Coaches Jim Gunn and Gabe Vitale made it to the final round in the High School Championships.

In the playoffs, the first match up was against their rivals Bellmore JFK, who won the Silver Division by one point over Farmingdale. The Dalers would not give up against this team and won the first round 7-2. The next match up was against the number one team in the league from Herricks High School who won 8-0. After that game, the Dalers were seeded in the B Championships. They rebounded against another Platinum team, Half Hollow Hills West. An outstanding effort from all the members landed them a well-deserved 8-0 win. In the championships, they lost to the second place Gold Division team from North Babylon 7-4 in an exciting and well-fought contest.

From the start of the season, this team made significant strides. Extensive practices and proper coaching instruction has taught them the many aspects and skills necessary for success in the sport. They provided the spectators with improved play throughout the season and the ability to bounce back after defeat. Their final regular season record was 9-10-1. In the playoffs, they were determined to make it thru all four rounds to the championship finals. The Dalers did and received the status of finalists in the B Championship of the Island Wide High School Roller Hockey League.
