Crimes Against Property Squad detectives of the Nassau County Police Department report the details of an arrest that occurred on March 31 in Bethpage.

According to detectives, the defendant, Nabil Graiss, 53, of Farmingdale, while employed as a personal banker by JP Morgan Chase Bank in N. Massapequa, issued an ATM card to the victim who left the bank leaving behind her ATM card and pin number. The defendant allegedly took possession of the card and began using the card to make ATM withdrawals. Between Nov. 2, 2007 and Feb. 20, 2008 the defendant withdrew in excess of $15,000. On March 31 the defendant was arrested and charged with Identity Theft 1st Degree, Grand Larceny 3rd Degree. He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on April 1.
