The Eighth Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department recently reported the arrest of a Farmingdale woman for Driving While Intoxicated on Wednesday Feb. 13 at 6:45 p.m. in Levittown.
According to police, a Nassau County Police Chief was operating his police vehicle northbound on Wantagh Avenue when a 1998 Toyota Camry, operated by Marie Muller, of Farmingdale, struck him from behind. The victim sustained neck and back pain for which he will seek medical attention, police reported. After an investigation, officers arrested Muller and charged her with Driving while Intoxicated. She was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Feb. 14.
