In the wake of the dog fighting guilty plea by Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, a 9-year-old Farmingdale boy made a very personal decision. __

Chance William Creamer went with his grandmother to Bideawee in Wantagh to donate a jersey with the quarterback's number on it, "for the puppies." His gift was much appreciated by Bideawee staff.

"The puppies were very happy to have something new to play with," said Laura Borley, the Bideawee in Wantagh client care supervisor. _"He just wanted to donate the jersey to a shelter," Borley said. "Chance was very proud of himself, as was his family. We are very proud of him, too. __Our dogs and cats are always in need of clean towels and other items to curl up on."

To make a donation of bedding, please contact the Bideawee Adoption Center in Wantagh at 785-4079.
