Three Seek Two Available Seats on Farmingdale Board
There are two incumbents and one first-time challenger running for two available trustee positions on the Farmingdale Board of Education. The incumbents, Tina Diamond, current board trustee and a freight payables manager for a worldwide corporation, and Russ Catanzaro, current board trustee and a construction manager, are vying against Anthony Sagginario, an NYPD officer.

Farmingdale State College Hosts Candlelight Vigil for Virginia Tech
On the corner of the Farmingdale State College campus on April 23, nearly 200 people gathered on campus outside Orchard Hall for a candlelit vigil remembering the fallen Hokies of Virginia Tech. Tears fell for those whose lives were brutally ended as a candle and a white rose were dedicated to each.

Bob Cook of the Runner's Edge recently presented the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a check for $1,175, which represented $1 from every sale made in the store during the month of April. The Runner's Edge is a supporter of the Society and its Team in Training Program.
