I wanted to remind our village residents and the surrounding community that our website www.farmingdalevillage.org is an excellent resource for not only information about the happenings in the village but it is also a great way to quickly link to other useful sites. The site has an easy-to-navigate format that puts a wealth of information at your fingertips. It's packed with information on our village government including our meeting schedules and upcoming events.

There's an informational "ticker" at the top of the website where any important or breaking news will be posted. This will be used to inform village residents of special directions or instructions in the event of an emergency or situation that may require resident notification (such as road closures, detours etc.) We hope that this will be your first place to visit when looking for information about our village.

In our quest to keep our residents as informed as possible we have made it easy for viewers to retrieve copies of the Farmingdale Village Report (our newsletter), my weekly Farmingdale Observer column and recent press releases. The Village Directory section includes all the information and contact numbers you might need to call for any assistance or have any questions pertaining to village services answered.

The Village Regulations section allows you to view sections of the Village code, print out certain permits and applications, read our good neighbor rules and read various legal notices. We have added a section for the Vision Long Island recommendations. You can review the report in its entirety. We have also added the Village of Farmingdale Zoning Map.

The Shop Farmingdale section provides a direct link to our Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce where you can learn more about the wide variety of Farmingdale businesses waiting to serve you and a local shopping section that you can visit for money-saving coupons and information on businesses within the surrounding community. There are direct links to the Town of Oyster Bay and Nassau County websites as well as other helpful sites. Our website is just another tool that we are providing to help keep our residents as updated as possible on the happenings in our village. We hope you will visit it often.
