Joseph P. Pitoscia, of North Babylon, died on April 14, 2007. Husband of Camille. Son of Patsy. Brother of Robert (Frances) and Patricia Racippi. Brother-in-law of Paul and Maryann Nittoly. Also survived by six nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Doroth G. Evans, of Hicksville, died on April 17, 2007. Wife of the late Theodore. Mother and mother-in-law of Irene and Gene Beresford and Kent and Kristine Evans. Grandmother of Ted, James, Susie, Chris, Jessica and Lindsay. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home. Religious service was held in the funeral home. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Ann C. Palmeri, of West Melbourne, FL (formerly of Plainview) died on April 12, 2007. Wife of the late Philip. Mother and mother-in-law of Daniel and Barbara, Mary Lourdes, Philip, Nancy and Scott Burn. Grandmother of Rachele, Matthew, Adeline, Alexis, Jessica, Carly and Julie. Sister of Agnus McDonell and Teresa Roach. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held April 20 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with private cremation following. Interment of cremains took place April 21 at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx. Fred S. Competello, of Plainview, died unexpectedly at the age of 54 on April 16, 2007. Brother of Anthony (Ann), Annamaria (Anthony) Comuniello and Angela Competello. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held April 19, 2007 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. John J. Slomkowski, formerly of Bethpage, died on April 16, 2007. Husband of the late Mary (December 1984). Father of Patricia Yokell, Martha Morton and Robert Slomkowski. Grandfather of four. Predeceased by his brother Edward. W.W. II Army Airforce veteran. Monahan, died on April 15, 2007. Wife of William. Mother of Joan Feiss, Stephen and William. Grandmother of Bryan Feiss, Kristen Feiss, Stephen Jr., Garrett, Christopher and Caroline. Sister of Kathleen and the late Robert. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral service was held April 20 at the funeral home with interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Robert A. Titus, a lifelong resident of Melville, died on April 22, 2007. Sixty-year charter member and Benevolent President of the Melville Fire Department. Trustee and head usher of the Central Presbyterian Church of Huntington. Husband of Elizabeth "Libby" Titus (nee Abramoske). Father of Carol Castellano (Frank) and Lois Titus. Grandfather of Robert, Stephen, Jill, Bernadette, Amy, Meghan and nine great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A Firematic service was held at the funeral home. A religious service was held at the funeral home on April 26 with private cremation following.
