The Farmingdale School District Board of Education unanimously adopted the proposed 2007-2008 school district budget at its Board meeting last Wednesday, April 11. The proposed budget reflects the district's on-going commitment to careful fiscal planning and excellent educational programs. The proposed budget keeps the tax levy increase to 3.53 percent. Wantagh-Seaford PAL is holding registration for the Girls Summer Fast Pitch Softball program. Eligible players for Senior Division are those students entering 9th thru 12th grade in September 2007 and graduating seniors (exceptions apply). The Junior Division includes students entering 7th and 8th grades in the fall. Teams will play in July and August, mostly three times a week, during the week.
