Farmingdale Board of Education Adopts Proposed 2007-08 Budget
The Farmingdale School District Board of Education unanimously adopted the proposed 2007-2008 school district budget at its Board meeting last Wednesday, April 11. The proposed budget reflects the district's on-going commitment to careful fiscal planning and excellent educational programs. The proposed budget keeps the tax levy increase to 3.53 percent.

Registration Information
Wantagh-Seaford PAL is holding registration for the Girls Summer Fast Pitch Softball program. Eligible players for Senior Division are those students entering 9th thru 12th grade in September 2007 and graduating seniors (exceptions apply). The Junior Division includes students entering 7th and 8th grades in the fall. Teams will play in July and August, mostly three times a week, during the week. There's a possibility for one doubleheader on Sunday evening under the lights during the season.

The Long Island Fury of the Women's Premier Soccer League, 2006 WPSL national champions and 2006 Organization of the Year, is very pleased to announce that tenacious midfielder Lorraine Quinn will be playing for the team again in 2007.
