Silvio Muschera, of Gainesville, FL (formerly of Melville,) died after a brief illness on January 17, 2007. Muschera graduated from CCNY in 1940 and obtained his Master of Art degree in 1944 from Columbia University Teachers College. During WWII he was an Italian language instructor for the Army and a cryptographer for the U.S. Office of Censorship. After the war he taught English, Italian, French, Spanish and Latin at Bethpage High School, and summer sessions at St. John's University. In 1957 he was appointed chairman of the Department of Foreign Languages for the Bethpage School District, where he served in this capacity with distinction for 27 years until his retirement in 1984. Husband of 56 years to Margaret. Father of Anthony Muschera of Gainesville, FL and Sylvia Muschero of Roosevelt. Brother of Theresa Colavito of Wantagh, and Rose Laferrera of Oceanside. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral service and interment took place January 23 at St. Charles Cemetery. Lang, of Farmingdale, died on January 22, 2007. Retired educator at the Massapequa School District and baseball coach at Berner High School. Husband of Mary. Father and father-in-law of Donna and Neil Simmons, Donald and Meaghan, Deborah and Howie Greenblatt, and Diana Lang and fiancé Jeff Kircher. Brother of Babe Lang, Judy Walsh and the late Charles Lang. Grandfather of Danielle, Bridgette, Connie, Mia, Aidan, Maeve, Ellie, J.C., Thomas and Kimberly. Arrangements were made by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church, Farmingdale. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Angelo E. Santasiero of NYC died on January 21, 2007. Husband of Sadie. Father of Camille Matarazzo and Denise Frudden. Grandfather of Mark, Todd, Jennifer, and Kimberly. Brother of Rosemarie. Grossman of Farmingdale, died on January 25, 2007. One of the most talented men, owner and operator of BMT Automotive, DBA Willie Service in Farmingdale for 25 years. Husband of Suzanne. Father of Bryan, Matthew and Taylour. Brother and brother-in-law of Carol and Willie Schledorn, Joan and Jim Murphy, and Thomas and Suzanne Grossman. Son-in-law of Marcia and James Mason. Son of the late Joan and Joe Grossman. Arrangements were made by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church, Farmingdale. Cremation followed. Patricia M. Husband of Mary. Father of Frank Jr., and Denise Heffel. Also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Henrietta. Kollmer, of Farmingdale, died on January 24, 2007. Predeceased in April 2006 by her husband of 52 years, Daniel. Mother and mother-in-law of Jackie and Gene Marcello and Susan and Brian Sklarsky. D'Urgolo, of Seaford, died on January 28, 2007. Husband of Gloria. Father of Linda Dollard, Laura D'Urgolo, Gloria D'Urgolo and Carol Pierce. Also survived by two grandchildren. Craddock, of East Quogue, formerly of Farmingdale, died on January 28, 2007. Husband of the late Mary. Father and father- in-law of Lorrie and Fred Koelbel, Bill and Marie, Tom and Lisa, James, and Robert and Maureen. Brother of Patricia Brown. Grandfather of nine. Funeral Mass was held at St. James RC Church, Seaford. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Ralph Howard Timson, of Massapequa Park, died on January 30, 2007. Husband of the late Margaret. Father and father-in-law of Lawrence Howard Timson and Janet Baumann. Grandfather of Matthew Ryan Timson, Joyce Lynn and Christopher Ribaudo, and Jennifer Ann Daryl Levy.
