Margaret "Peggy" Ziti, age 69, of Farmingdale (formerly of Copiague), died on January 20, 2007 after a long battle against cancer. Retired from Newsday's advertising department after 13 years of service. Predeceased by her husband Joseph on November 18, 2006. Pauline Alena (Kalicky), age 89, of Wilmington, DE, passed away quietly in her sleep on Jan. 22, 2007 in the Sunrise Assisted Living of Wilmington's Reminiscence Neighborhood. She had previously been a resident at Forwood Manor for four years.

She was born and raised in Brooklyn, where she was a supervisor in the Office of the Comptroller of the City of New York. Those who knew her remember her love of her son, her wonderful sense of humor and her passion for bowling and bingo.

She was predeceased in 1968 by her first husband, Bill Kalicky, and by her second husband, Arthur Alena, in 1996. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Maida Kalicky; and niece, Phyllis Astrella.
