The State University of New York Board of Trustees recently voted unanimously to name W. Hubert Keen, Ph.D., president of the State University of New York College of Technology at Farmingdale.

Runner's Edge Hosts Clinic for Triathlon Team
The Runner's Edge and Team Runner's Edge hosted a Shoe and Apparel Clinic for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Triathlon Team and Run Team. Bob Cook, owner of the Runner's Edge explained the differences between the many different styles and brands of running shoes and discussed the proper attire for winter training. Farmingdale Jumps Slated for January 31
Farmingdale Jumps is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m. at Farmingdale High School. The Harlem Magic Masters (featuring Speedy and Mugsy) will be taking on the Farmingdale Tornados. The Dalerettes will perform at half time. Raffle prizes from the Knicks, Jets, Islanders and Giants will be available. Tickets are $10 and will be available through each school's PTA beginning Jan. 2, 2007. Fifty percent of ticket sales will go to the PTAs to support scholarships and the other half will go to the Farmingdale Summit Community Council's Family Assistance program.
