The Jets defense forced a safety for two points. But it was Anthony Bonilla who made the play of the day, with an interception and touchdown run that made the score 19-8. Chris Witt and Matt Podbielak played great defense for the Colts, grabbing flags all game. Nicky Mio, T.J. Knight and Nathan Kircheim were fantastic on both sides of the ball as the Colts completed an amazing 4-0 run in the playoffs. The Colts would not be champs without the great defensive play from Matt Lubliner who, although injured for the Super Bowl, did a terrific job cheering his teammates on. The Colts really played together as a team and should be proud of their efforts as should the Jets who also had a great season.
The Jets congratulate the Colts on their big win. It just wasn't meant to be for them on Sunday, but it was still a fun and successful season. The Jets' parents and coaches congratulate all the boys: Joe McBane, Joe Salonia, Andrew Hanc, Paul Cohen, Billy Pickett, Jonathan Smalkin, Joe Valente, Vincent Mavaro and Brian Mazza.
