The Steelers are the Super Bowl Champions. In their impressive 19-0 win, Courtney Hroch had two beautiful interceptions bringing one in for a touchdown. Nadine and Amanda also scored and Kaitie scored the extra point. Maggie, Courtney, Lauren, Justine and Gina anchored the defense, while Emily and Carrie were fantastic on offense. Specials thanks to coaches Chris Fleming and Rob Godas for leading the girls to a successful season.

It was a rematch of the 1969 Super Bowl, but this time the Colts beat the Jets, 19-8. After beginning the season 0-3, the Colts turned it around going 6-2 the rest of the way. The Colts scored first on a long run by Richie Sullivan off a handoff. Erik Wolfert then hauled in a pass from Jake Dickinson for the extra point. The Jets came right back with a touchdown with Joe Valente hitting Vincent Mavaro to make it 7-6. Jake and Eric hooked up again for a touchdown making it 13-6. The Jets defense forced a safety for two points. But it was Anthony Bonilla who made the play of the day, with an interception and touchdown run that made the score 19-8. Chris Witt and Matt Podbielak played great defense for the Colts, grabbing flags all game. Nicky Mio, T.J. Knight and Nathan Kircheim were fantastic on both sides of the ball as the Colts completed an amazing 4-0 run in the playoffs. The Colts would not be champs without the great defensive play from Matt Lubliner who, although injured for the Super Bowl, did a terrific job cheering his teammates on. The Colts really played together as a team and should be proud of their efforts as should the Jets who also had a great season.

The Jets congratulate the Colts on their big win. It just wasn't meant to be for them on Sunday, but it was still a fun and successful season. The Jets' parents and coaches congratulate all the boys: Joe McBane, Joe Salonia, Andrew Hanc, Paul Cohen, Billy Pickett, Jonathan Smalkin, Joe Valente, Vincent Mavaro and Brian Mazza.

The Vikings are Super Bowl Champions. The day started out with a rematch against the Patriots who handed the Vikings their only loss coming in the first round of the playoffs. Alex Brosnan had two touchdown passes and ran back an interception for a score. Joe Kennedy also had a touchdown pass. touchdown catches were made by Joe, Steven Harris, who also ran back an interception for a score. Extra points scored by Keith McNicholl, Joe and Zachary Pardo. Solid defense by Thomas Pich, forcing two penalties, Bill Specht, Paul Giglio and George Calvo. Final score: Vikings 33 Patriots 12.

The Vikings had to beat the Jets two times in order to win the Super Bowl. The first game was a 26-21 Viking win. Alex Brosnan had three more touchdown passes to George, Keith and Joe. Steven had a long touchdown run. Solid defense by Thomas, Paul, Zach, Mike and Billy.

The second game the Vikings took control from the start. Alex continued his unstoppable play at quarterback with four more touchdown passes to Keith, Joe, Steven and Mike Z. Alex had 10 touchdown passes for the day! Mike also had an interception and great run forgetting it's not tackle and lowering his shoulder on the return. Solid defense by Zach, Thomas, George, Paul, Billy and Alex. The kids were getting tired of the coaches telling them defense wins games, but it was team defense that carried this team all year. Final score Vikings 28, Jets 13. With a final season record of 13-1.

The coaches would like to thank the kids for a great season and for displaying true sportsmanship all year.
