Lillian Avino ( nee Trifaro) passed away on Sept. 27, 2006. Born in Farmingdale, she was a 51-year resident of Centerport. She worked for the NY Telephone Company. Wife of Frank for 51 years. Daughter of the late Leo and Jennie Trifaro. She is survived by her sisters, Eva Megna, Josephine Cannataro, Lucy Giordano; brothers, Frank, Sam and Phil Trifaro. She was predeceased by her sisters, Jennie Tucciarone, Katherine Chiusano, Mary Giordano, Angie Bacon, Ida Wildner and brothers, Thomas and Leonard Trifaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by the M.A. Connell Funeral Home, Huntington Station. Mass was held at St. Patrick's Church, Huntington. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
Mary E. Pratt, of Central Islip, died on October 2, 2006. Mother of Chris, Nancy and the late Theresa. Sister of three sisters. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Marilyn J. Keohane (nee Hedemark), of Houston, Texas, formerly of Bethpage, died on October 7, 2006. Wife of Patrick. Mother of Scott and Brian. Sister of Carol Bliefernich, MaryEllen Terjesen, Signe Richardson and Paul Hedemark. Daughter of Roosevelt and Muriel Hedemark. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
