I would like to thank Engine Company 5 of the Levittown Fire Department. They are not having an alcohol-type event to raise funds! They are presenting a Doo Wop Oldies music show! More should follow this lead. There are so many ways to raise money without making friends with alcohol! It's sad that so many groups who say they are about wellness and what's best - just don't seem to get it, no matter how many die!

We are losing the fight on alcohol; would a friend break up your family, take your health, your job or even your life? Or, the life of someone else (DWI)?

We need to rethink this friendship! Alcohol is no friend of mine and it seems the Levittown Fire Department feels the same way!
