Robert Joseph Bauer, 75, formerly of Farmingdale, died on Aug. 29, 2006 in Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his wife Claire Dunbar and their four sons, Robert, Michael, Harold and Warren, four daughters-in-law, Carolyn, Karen, Victoria and Mary and 10 grandchildren. Robert was born in Brooklyn on Dec. 16, 1930 and was a Korean War veteran. He worked for NY Telephone Co. and Pacific Telesis for 42 years. Robert lived in Farmingdale for 24 years and was a member of St. Kilian Parish. He also lived in San Jose, CA, for 16 years and Sun Lakes, AZ, for 12 years. Arrangements were made by the Bueler Mortuary, Chandler, AZ. Services were held at St. Steven's Catholic Church, Sun Lakes on Sept. 6. Inurnment with military honors at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Ann Kajko of Bethpage died on August 25, 2006. Predeceased in 2003 by her husband, Edward.
