Farmingdale is starting to get back on the map for softball especially after successful seasons for both the varsity and junior varsity high school softball teams.
Farmingdale Jaguars 16U softball team, coached by Vito Ferraro, Sal Modena and Terry Vitale, is one of the many travel teams competing this summer. The team is in the Glen Cove Tournament and the Town of Hempstead High School League. In both leagues, the girls are being competitive with top division one and elite travel programs.
