For anyone who lives in Farmingdale to say that the police do not do their job is insane; I am sure that there are much more important things going on the Friday before the long Fourth of July weekend.
Secondly, after 30 years of this league playing softball, it is much more than a group of 40 plus men playing softball. This league runs a charity tournament every year for either an organization or a family in Farmingdale who may be in need of assistance.
Now, let's address the handball courts; does anyone else walk past them and smell the pot smoking that goes on there, this is at 6:30 p.m. in the evening, not at 10 p.m. As a parent of two children in Farmingdale, I see this as a greater problem.
The real problem is that some people have no free time on their hands and some people have too much free time on their hands.
There are approximately 192 men in this league who all have families, homes in the community and jobs and, most of all, pay taxes to keep the lights on for the handball courts and the upkeep of Allen Park, so "What is the big deal?"
