High Expectations for SUNY Farmingdale's First Garden Festival
The Farmingdale State Horticultural Committee is putting together their First Garden Festival scheduled for June 10 -11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and takes place on the garden's four lush acres at the Farmingdale State University Campus.

FHS Girls Lacrosse are Long Island Champs
How do the Lady Dalers spell relief? M-A-K-S-Y-M. That's #37 Lauren Maksym the freshman goalie. With help from her excellent defense, the Lady Dalers team shut out Northport in the second half to capture the Long Island Class A Girls Lacrosse Title at Stony Brook University last Sunday.

Girls Soccer Tryouts
The Farmingdale Fever Girls U11 travel team is looking for hard-working, dedicated girls to join their team. Tryouts are Monday, June 12 at Howitt Middle School and Tuesday, June 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Allen Park on the turf field. Allen Park can be found on Motor Avenue between Merritts Road and Main Street. Detailed directions can be found on the club website at www.farmingdalesoccer.com.
