Raise the flag!!! The OTHG actually was able to play some ball May 26 even though Mother Nature tried her best to rainout another week. What should have been the league's sixth week turned out to be only the second game of the season. With the two-week delay at the start of the season and the two rainouts the league will be hard pressed to get the entire 16 game schedule in this year, and that is dependent on a cooperative weatherman.

In the way of highlights, there isn't much to report other than a few game results. Moby continued their winning ways by beating Built-More-Builders. BMB's Ira Berger has not made an out since joining the team this year. The chant "Oh Ira" now follows every hit and was especially loud when Ira legged out a triple Friday night. Tom Dittmeier just missed clearing the fence and wound up with a long RBI triple, one of two hits he had on the night. Jerry Mazza went four-for-four, while Rich D'Amico continued his hot hitting with a pair of hits. The other BMB players with multiple hits included Tom "T" Ball, Joe Manning, Joe Cipolla, Brian Tinney and Pete Mendelson. Moby is now 2-0 while BNB falls to 1-1. Synergy continued their winning ways, a carryover from the 2005 season, with a convincing win over Barco 18-8. The lone bright star for Barco was Steve Schwind's four RBI, two hit night that included a three-run homerun. Also for Barco with two-hit games were Bob Diamond, Dave Saur, Terry McPartland and Gary Jambor. Synergy is now 2-0 and Barco 1-1. The only other result in at this time was Hampton Air edging out Changing Times 14-12. The win evens Hampton Air at 1-1 while CT falls to 0-2.
