Recently, I and Gary Corwin of Cardinal Landscaping were inducted into the Farmingdale High School Technology Honor Society Hall of Fame for using the skills that we learned during high school into our business lives. The Farmingdale School District's Technology Department does an excellent job preparing our children for future careers. As an officer in the Carpenters Union, I am truly amazed at the caliber of education provided to the students who participate in the carpentry program. Under the direction of Jim Lawler, these students graduate prepared to start a career in the carpentry field.

The Technology Department also offers programs in culinary science, printing, computer sciences and other fields that prepare students for the work force. As a proud member of the Farmingdale Career Advisory Council, I would like to thank Mrs. Ellen Kramer for her dedication to our children.
