The Missing Persons Section of the Nassau County Police Department's 8th Precinct is requesting the assistance of the media and the public in locating a Farmingdale girl who has been missing since Tuesday, May 8 at 7 a.m.

July 8 5K Course to Travel Through Farmingdale
All local women runners and walkers are urged to sign up for the 23rd Long Island Women's 5 Kilometer Run, scheduled for Saturday, July 8, at 9 a.m. This year's run will once again be held on a lightning fast course through the Farmingdale community, finishing on the track at Farmingdale High School. Every entrant will receive a commemorative woman's shirt, as well as other surprise gifts.

Farmingdale to Host Nick Katsounis Memorial Wheelchair Championship Race
The Greater Long Island Running Club and the Town of Oyster Bay are pleased to announce that the 15th annual edition of the 2006 Nick Katsounis Memorial Wheelchair Championship 10 Kilometer Run will be held on the roads of Farmingdale on Sunday morning, June 25, starting and finishing adjacent to Ellsworth Allen Town Park.

Registration Information
Registration for Farmingdale PAL - NFL Flag Football will take place on Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Allen Park Community Center. Fees are $50 for grades K-2 and $65 for grades three through nine.
