Congratulations to Farmingdale residents Jerry Ahern, Fred Benlein, Ellen Shapiro and Geza Feld, each of whom won awards in the inaugural "Guts & Glory 5 Kilometer Run" on Saturday morning, April 29. The Run was held at the Town of Oyster Bay's Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa to benefit the Long Island Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.

Jerry took first place honors in the "Clydesdale" 185-199 pound Weight Division, Fred scored third in the "Clydesdale" 200 pound plus Weight Division, Ellen earned third place honors in the 50-54 Age Group, and Geza took the first place award in the 70-74 Age Group.
