Registration for Farmingdale PAL - NFL Flag Football will take place on Monday, May 8 and Monday, May 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria at Howitt Middle School and Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Allen Park Community Center. Fees are $50 for grades K-2 and $65 for grades 3-9. Registration for the summer PAL baseball/softball program will be held on: Monday, May 8 at Howitt Middle School, East Cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m. The summer baseball/softball season begins July 1 and runs through Sept. 4. FCNY (Futbol Club of NY), a registered US Club Soccer organization, will be holding tryouts for boys and girls soccer teams ages 8 through 15. They are looking to enter competitive teams into the US Club Soccer State Cup this spring, as well as entering teams into the new LIYSL in the fall of 2006. The Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center is forming a girls soccer team for ages 8-15 that will compete in a spring/summer, indoor/outdoor league.
