The Concerned Citizens Association of Farmingdale (CCAF) held their monthly meeting Thursday, April 27, at the Community Center in Allen Park. Two significant presentations were made regarding the proposed 2006/07 Farmingdale Schools budget and the future development of Farmingdale.

Registration Information
Registration for the summer PAL baseball/softball program will be held on: Monday, May 8 at Howitt Middle School, East Cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m. The summer baseball/softball season begins July 1 and runs through Sept. 4. It is open to children 5 through 17-years-old. For more information call the PAL clubhouse at 249-6825.

Farmingdale Runners Score in Guts & Glory 5 Kilometer Run
Congratulations to Farmingdale residents Jerry Ahern, Fred Benlein, Ellen Shapiro and Geza Feld, each of whom won awards in the inaugural "Guts & Glory 5 Kilometer Run" on Saturday morning, April 29. The Run was held at the Town of Oyster Bay's Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa to benefit the Long Island Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.
