Not much to report regarding league matters since the season hasn't started yet and we are unsure when it will as we await the field's renovation to be completed. But this gives the league an opportunity to rally the troops for one of our own. Long time Changing Times player and class act, Bill Johnson, needs our support for his grandson. Approximately two months ago in mid February, Bill's grandson was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer and is currently being treated at Children's Hospital in Boston. The family is holding fundraising garage sales on the following dates and locations so come out and help provide some assistance to Bill and his family. If you have any items that you would like to donate for the garage sale please contact Katie Johnson at 369-8615. All proceeds from the garage sales will go to the Matthew Bove Fund.

April 29 - 30 at 33 Ridge Rd. in Farmingdale; May 20-21 at 179 Thames St. in Port Jefferson Station and June 3-4 at 24 Bolan Dr. in Huntinton.

Locally Granny O'Sheas Inn (217 Main St. Farmingdale) is gracious enough to be hosting a fundraiser; this will be on Saturday 29th between 1-7 p.m. Come enjoy art, music, and drink all for a good cause.
