Christiansen, Starkie and Nicosia, all Green Leaf Party candidates, swept the polls on April 21.

Ted Dorfmeister served as trustee for the past year and a half and did not seek reelection this term. His community involvement includes serving as chairman of the Village Green Gazebo Fundraising Committee, Boy Scouts, American Legion Post #449 and the the St. Kilian's Outreach Program.

Former Trustee Dr. Benjamin Giminaro has served on the village board for the past 19 years and also did not seek reelection this term. He said he "appreciates the support" he's received from the community.

"I think we made a marked improvement in the village during that time," he said.

Giminaro will continue to serve the community through his involvement in the Boy Scouts, Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society and Rotary Club.
