Anna Mae Mangum, of West Caldwell, formerly of North Caldwell, NJ, Okala, FL, Farmingdale, and North Massapequa, died on Jan. 20, 2006 at St. Vincent's Nursing Home, Cedar Grove, NJ. She was 78 years old. A typist for many years with the Long Island Globe Newspaper, she retired in 1989. She is survived by her sons, Steven Nerlfi of W. Caldwell, Michael Nerlfi and his companion Antonia of Phoenix, AZ, Gary Nerlfi (Sandra) of Chugiak, AK, and Geoffrey Nerlfi of Woodstock, NY; and her daughters, Jeanne Weber (Paul) of Rochester and Joann Valenzuela of Fort Riley, KS. She was a loving grandmother to Ian, Ashley, Joseph, Michael, Matthew, Isabelle and Rose. She was a member and past secretary for the Civic Association of N. Massapequa and a member of AARP.

Dorothy Cagnard, of Farmingdale, died on January 22, 2006. Wife of the late George J. Cagnard. Mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Kathleen Cagnard, Lynn and Larry Ripak. Helen A. Goehringer, a resident of Mattituck since 1968, died at Central Suffolk Hospital in Riverhead on Jan. 22, 2006. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Goehringer was born to Eva (nee Wolff) and John Tancsik on May 2, 1922 in Franklin Square. She later met and married Gerard P. Goehringer Sr. and together they made their home in Farmingdale, where she was an administrative assistant for the school principal of St. Kilian's RC Church.

On the North Fork, she was a member of the Mattituck Homemakers and a communicant at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church. She loved being in the company of her grandchildren and cat "Pepper" said family members.

She was predeceased on April 3, 2005 by her husband. She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Gerard P. and Barbara Goehringer of Mattituck; and two grandchildren, Brian and Denise.

Arrangements were made by the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home, Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church. Interment Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Cutchogue.
