Farmingdale BOE Welcomes Nassau POP Officers Nov. 9
Nassau County police officers opened the Nov. 9 Farmingdale Board of Education meeting. The board brought POP Officers Tom Murphy and Paul LaMonaca to the meeting to discuss the recent shooting at Farmingdale High School.

Seven-Year-Old Hawks Complete Season
Farmingdale's 7-year-old Hawks capped a phenomenal season with an exciting weekend. The festivities started with a tailgate party at Hofstra University before the Pride took on the University of Massachusetts. During halftime of the college game, the Hawks played in a 12-play exhibition against a team of 7- and 8-year-olds from West Babylon. As usual, the Hawks made their coaches, families and friends proud, keeping their composure and playing to a 6-6 draw in front of thousands of fans on the turf field.

There is simply no better way for Farmingdale runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and their families to celebrate the holiday season than by being part of the fun at the 18th Annual Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt LLP Ho Ho Ho Holiday Run. The Run will be held on the roads of Bethpage, on Saturday morning, Dec. 17.
