Lenox Hills Estates Continues to Raise Ire of Sherman Road Neighbors
When Ken and Adrianne Johnston moved into their home on Sherman Road in 1973 there were 4.5 acres of undeveloped land behind it dubbed the Hueppe Property. It has, for the most part, remained that way until a few months ago. That's when the construction of eight $1 million homes commenced just beyond their backyard.

Trump, Taxiway Discussed at October RAC Meeting
Donald Trump, the realignment of Taxiway Lima, and the proposed construction of two new 35,000 square foot hangars were just some of the topics discussed at the Republic Airport Commission meeting held on Monday, Oct. 17. The meeting, which took place at Republic Airport's main terminal, was open to the public and attracted approximately 40 attendees.

Flag Football - Week 8
The Peanut Chiefs and Giants squared off in a well-played game. The Morante twins had their Wheaties for breakfast as Anthony picked off a Giant pass while Paul had a career day with two TD scores. Jack Nonnermann threw a bomb to Tom Donovan for one of his two TD passes on the day. Sean "Snake" McCann also had some big passes. Connor Costarella, Will Hroch and Tim Dolan anchored the strong Chief defense.

Oyster Bay Ice Skating Season Opens November 25
Town of Oyster Bay residents can start enjoying the ice skating season the day after Thanksgiving, according to Town Supervisor John Venditto. Opening day for the rinks at the Bethpage, Marjorie R. Post (Massapequa) and Syosset-Woodbury Community Parks is Friday, November 25.
